Share one grocery list with your whole family
If your family's grocery list lives in a group text, a note on one phone and a sticky note on the fridge, this puts it all in one place. Everyone adds from their own phone, and whoever is at the store sees it all.
Set it up
- Open the Family tab. Type the first name you want your family to see next to the things you add, then tap Start a family list.
- Invite your family. Tap Invite family and send the link by text or email. Anyone who opens it joins the same list. They can also type the family code on their own Family tab.
- Name your list. Give it a name, like The Smiths, so everyone knows they're in the right place.
- Start adding. Anyone can add from the List tab. Type a few letters and pick from the suggestions. Each item shows who added it.
At the store
- Open the Trip tab. Pick the store you're shopping at. Your list is sorted by section, like Produce and Dairy.
- Check items off as you go. Everyone at home sees the checks within seconds, so nobody buys the same thing twice.
- Something forgotten?. Someone at home can add it while you're still in the store, and it shows up on your list right away.
Tip. Kids can add their own snacks, so the list stops living in your texts. You can remove anyone from the list later on the Family tab.
