Compare what your list costs at stores near you

A sale on one item doesn't tell you what your whole list costs. GroceryGret adds up your list at the stores near you, using prices people near you actually paid.

Compare your list

  1. Set your location. On the List tab, tap your location at the top and enter your home address or ZIP code. Your address finds the closest stores and stays on your phone.
  2. Build your list. Add what you need this week, or check items you always buy.
  3. Tap Compare stores. GroceryGret totals your list at each store near home and marks the cheapest one.
  4. Check how complete each total is. Each store shows how many of your items it has a price for, like 18 of 20. A store with fewer priced items isn't always cheaper; it may just be missing prices.
  5. Pick a favorite. Star the stores you shop most. Favorites are listed first.

Where the prices come from

Prices come from receipts that families choose to share, plus the weekly sale prices stores send in their own promotional emails. Each price shows when it was seen, and prices older than two weeks are marked so you know they may have changed.

We don't scrape prices. GroceryGret never copies prices from store websites or apps. That's why coverage grows store by store, and why seeing prices in the app is free.
