Common questions
How do I share a list with my family?
Open the Family tab, type your name, and tap Start a family list. Send the invite link or family code to your family. They open it, or type the code on their Family tab, and everyone sees the same list.
Why doesn't a store show prices?
Live prices come from stores that offer them, like Kroger, Harris Teeter and Walmart. Other stores get prices from receipts families near you share. You can still pick any store on the Trip tab and shop your list there. Scanning your receipt afterward adds that store's prices for everyone.
A receipt was read wrong. What should I do?
On the review screen, tap any line to fix its match, or tap Add a missed item. Anything we couldn't prove is listed under Please check, so look there first. If a whole receipt reads badly, email us a photo so we can teach the reader that format.
How do I set my favorite stores?
On the Family tab, tap Favorite stores and star as many as you like. The Trip tab opens at your closest favorite, and favorites are listed first when comparing.
How do I change my location?
On the List tab, tap your location at the top and enter your ZIP code. Stores and prices update for the new area.
How do I delete my data?
In the app, open Settings on the List tab and tap Delete all my data. It erases everything on your phone and everything our server has from your phone. You can also email privacy@grocerygret.com.
Is my information sold?
No. We never sell your personal information. If you turn on receipt sharing, prices are combined with many other shoppers' and anonymized before any report is made. Read the privacy policy.
I'm a TestFlight tester. How do I report a bug?
In TestFlight, take a screenshot in the app and tap Share Beta Feedback, or email us. Tell us what you tapped and what you expected to happen.
